Lumina Research treats your data with the same care we apply to our reagents. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the controls you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account and order details — name, institution, email, phone, billing and shipping addresses.
- Payment data — processed by our PCI-compliant payment provider. Full card numbers never touch our servers.
- Technical data — IP address, device, browser, and interaction events collected via cookies and similar tooling.
2. How we use it
- Fulfill orders, issue COAs, and deliver support.
- Send transactional messages such as order and shipment updates.
- Send marketing only when you have opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time.
- Detect fraud, secure the site, and improve product and site performance.
3. Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share only what is necessary with trusted processors — payment providers, shipping carriers, email and analytics platforms — under contract, and with authorities where required by law.
4. Cookies
Cookies power sessions, cart state, and privacy-respecting analytics. You can disable them in your browser; some features may degrade if you do.
5. Data security
Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS, secrets are stored in a managed vault, and access to customer records is restricted to staff who need it to operate the business.
6. Your rights
